So the Aging Hippies will be back on the road again after a long layoff.  We’re fully vaccinated, we’ve got plenty of masks, and we’re heading south to visit family, friends, and historical sites in our country’s civil rights battle.  The enigma of the South continues to draw me in as I try to better understand why our country is so divided.  I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences during my travels below the Mason Dixon line.  The people couldn’t be friendlier, the weather is warm, and the food is delicious.  I can’t wait to get going, our van is packed, campgrounds are booked, and the best places to eat are fully researched.
